How to add a Coinlytics widget to your iPad

iOS 14.8 and below

In iOS 14.8 and below, widgets can only be added to the Today View on the left side of the iPad homescreen.


iOS 15.0 and above

Prior to iOS 15, widgets cannot be placed on the iPadOS desktop -they can only be added to the Today View sidebar. 


For iOS 15, adding Coinlytics widgets to your iPad is easy.

  1. Long press on your home screen
  2. Tap +
  3. Scroll through the list of available widgets or type 'Coinlytics' in the search bar
  4. Select the widget type then tap 'Add Widget'
  5. After the widget is dropped on to your home screen, long press until the drop down menu appears and select 'Edit Widget'
  6. Customize your widget
  7. Tap anywhere outside the dialog to return to your homescreen

For iPadOS 15 and higher we have a special type of widget called the Market Indices widget - this displays pricing for up to 60 coins/tokens - you can choose between the top performing coins/tokens by market cap or percentage change over 24 hours. This list is currently not customizable - it automatically pulls from the current market pricing.
